Overview


We are seeking a results-driven Sales & Business Development Lead to support in sales operations, build and grow our presence in the Iraq market. This role is responsible for lead generation, market penetration, prospect development, meeting setup, and end toned sales support, with a strong focus on technology solutions and B2B services. The ideal candidate must have strong local market knowledge, a strong professional network, and a tech-savvy, proactive sales mindset capable of selling ERP, digital transformation, and enterprise solutions to small and mid-to-large organizations.  

Key Responsibilities


Sales & Lead Generation, Backend Support

  • Proactively identify, qualify, and develop new B2B leads and prospects across Iraq with primary focus on Erbil and Baghdad.
  • Introduce company services to potential clients through cold outreach, referrals, networking, and digital channels.
  • Arrange and coordinate sales meetings, demos, and presentations with decisionmakers (Business Owners, CEOs, CXOs, Directors, Managers).
  • Build and maintain a strong sales pipeline and regularly report progress.
  • Support the sales team in proposal documentation and follow-ups.
  • Maintain accurate records of leads, activities, and opportunities in CRM systems.
  • Coordinate with internal teams (pre-sales, delivery, finance, and partners) to ensure smooth sales execution.

Business Development & Market Expansion

  • Support in developing market entry and growth strategies tailored to Iraq’s business environment.
  • Identify industry segments, key accounts and partnership opportunities. 
  • Leverage local relationships and business networks to open doors and accelerate deal flow. 
  • Represent the company at industry events, exhibitions and networking forums.

Technology & Solution Selling

  • Understand and confidently position technology and enterprise solutions (ERP, cloud systems, digital platforms, automation tools, etc.). 
  • Translate customer pain points into solution-based value propositions 
  • Stay updated on technology trends, competitors, and market dynamics.


Required Skills & Qualifications


  • 3 to 5 years of experience in B2B sales, business development, or account management. 
  • Strong knowledge of the Iraq market, business culture, and decision-making processes.
  • Proven ability to engage senior stakeholders and business owners.
  • Existing network of contacts in corporate, SME, or government-related sectors is a strong advantage.
  • Strong lead generation, prospecting, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to build trust, influence decisions, and close deals.
  • Capable in selling technology-driven solutions and professional services.
  • Experience using CRM systems, digital sales tools, and online research platforms.
  • Tech-savvy mindset with the ability to learn new products quickly.
  • Excellent English communication skills (spoken and written).
  • Arabic language is a plus.
